Family Easter Photos

We had a nice, fairly quiet Easter this year. We read the Easter story in the Bible each day beginning with the Last Supper and ending with the Resurrection. I always want the kids to be mindful of the reason we celebrate. It's hard with "all the fun stuff" to distract. I know we try to do a good mix, but this year I feel like we fell short. I've gotten some great ideas from friends' blogs. Think we'll try something different next year. Anyway, we did have a lovely family day and in a break with tradition, we went out to dinner. This Weapons School wife/mom is tired!

We were in a bit of a rush to head off for church, so these photos are from after. I'm only clarifying that because I'm hoping my hair looked better when we actually left the house!

My personal favorite! Always love a good photo of a Daddy and his kiddos!

An outtake! Thomas just had to take a photo! I love Gaby's expression!

This last one is actually from this afternoon. Miss Gabriella is working diligently on getting her first tooth or should I say, it's working on her! She was not a particularly happy camper today, so I was pulling out all the stops to console her weary self. I went to the sling after my arms were just too tired to hold her anymore and I was really needing to get some things done. I hadn't tried it with her forward-facing before and I thought she was absolutely adorable plopped in there like a darling little sack of potatoes!
